- How much does this website cost me?
Absolutely nothing. Our promotional partners help make this website at no financial cost to you.
- Do I have to login to access certain parts of the site?
Yes, you have to log in to view housing profiles. You can either log in using your Facebook account or by manually entering your information.
- How do I use How's the Living?
You can view and post ratings of your housing if you're a current student at a college or university by going on our website or by sending text messages to 72727. See an explanation of the text message process here. And after sending in your first review, you gain access to food discounts around your university!
- How do I cancel my account?
Contact us at talk2us@howstheliving.com and we'll get you all fixed up! You can also cancel your account from your profile page.
- Will How's The Living edit the ratings I post?
We do not alter ratings that are posted. However, we do remove ratings if they are inappropriate.
- Who can rate and post reviews? Is it limited to students?
Ratings and reviews for a particular college/university can only be received by students with that school’s email address.
- Are the ratings statistically valid?
These are ratings born from your peers' opinions and judgments, and should be viewed as such.
- What is the How's the Living privacy policy?
